Hyderabad: Choreographer Johnny Master, who faces serious allegations including rape and violations under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, has been granted police custody for four days by the Special POCSO Court of Rangareddy District. The court issued a directive prohibiting the use of third-degree methods during the interrogation.
Currently incarcerated at Chanchalguda Jail, Johnny Master was arrested following a complaint lodged by an assistant choreographer. In response to the court’s approval, police officials arrived at Chanchalguda Jail to take him into custody for further questioning.
The Narsinghi police have been tasked with conducting the interrogation, which is set to continue until September 28. The case has attracted significant media attention, reflecting ongoing concerns about safety and justice in cases involving allegations against prominent figures.
