Amaravati: Chief Minister Mr. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday assured citizens that their concerns would be addressed swiftly. During his visit to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) central office in Mangalagiri, Mr. Naidu personally received appeals from people across the state, promising to resolve their issues at the earliest.
The Chief Minister gave his attention to a wide range of grievances, including those from physically challenged individuals and students. Among the attendees, many had traveled long distances to submit their petitions, hopeful for prompt government intervention.
One of the notable appeals came from Ms. Tanner Samrajyam, a differently-abled woman from Gorantla, Guntur. She explained that she had been receiving a pension under the quota for the physically challenged. However, during the previous YSRCP regime, her pension was discontinued due to her household’s power consumption exceeding 300 units per month. Ms. Samrajyam pleaded for the restoration of her pension, expressing her difficulty in making ends meet without the financial assistance.
In addition to listening to public grievances, several attendees handed over donations to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF). Mr. Naidu expressed his gratitude, appreciating their contributions to support the welfare efforts of the state.
The Krishna Dharma Rakshana Samithi, a religious group, also met the Chief Minister, urging him to establish a Gosala (cow shelter) along the Guntur-Vijayawada highway. They raised concerns over the illegal transport of cattle in the region and requested the government’s intervention.
Mr. Naidu reassured everyone that the government is committed to resolving their concerns and that steps will be taken without delay to provide relief to those in need.
