Amaravati: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu held a crucial meeting with various investigation and inquiry agencies at the state secretariat to review the progress of ongoing investigations in Andhra Pradesh. The discussions focused on several high-profile cases, including the fiber net project, file burning incidents, and sand looting in Madanapalle.
During the meeting, CM Chandrababu inquired about the status of the investigation into the Madanapalle file burning case, which is being probed by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). He emphasized the need for timely updates on the progress of this case and the steps taken to address the issue of past sand exploitation throughout the state.
Additionally, the Chief Minister sought details regarding the liquor scam, underscoring the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability. Present at the meeting were Chief Secretary Nirab Kumar, Director General of Police Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, Principal Secretary of the Home Department Kumar Vishwajith, and the DG of Vigilance, along with the CID Chief.
