Amaravathi: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu announced on Thursday that a comprehensive white paper on capital works will be released, promising a meticulous plan and seeking public cooperation to rebuild Amaravathi and Polavaram projects. He criticized the previous government for their imprudent management, which led to the destruction of these crucial assets.
During his field visit, CM Naidu examined the ruins of the capital region, expressing regret over the damaged constructions. He started his tour at Praja Vedika in Vundavalli, demolished by the YSRCP government, and moved to Uddandarayanipalem, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone for the capital. CM Naidu offered prayers at the site, then inspected residences built for MLAs, MLCs, All India Service officers, High Court judges, ministers, and government employees.
Speaking at the CRDA Bhavan, CM Naidu lauded the farmers who fought for 1,631 days to protect their land for the capital, emphasizing their struggle as a historical example.
The Chief Minister pledged to eradicate rowdyism, rebuild the state, and restore Andhra Pradesh’s past glory.
