Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Gautam Adani, accusing them of tarnishing the nation’s honor. He alleged that KCR and his party, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), had compromised with the BJP to avoid arrest, calling for transparency on their stance. Revanth warned of a ‘Chalo Rashtrapati Bhavan’ protest if a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) is not constituted to probe Adani’s alleged irregularities.

On Wednesday, the Congress party, led by CM Revanth, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, and senior leaders, staged a massive ‘Chalo Raj Bhavan’ protest as part of AICC’s nationwide agitation against the Center’s inaction on the Adani case and Manipur riots. The rally, starting from Indira Gandhi’s statue at Necklace Road, was stopped near Lake View Guest House, prompting leaders to stage a sit-in protest on the road.

Revanth Reddy criticized Modi for shielding Adani despite global reports of corruption and emphasized that BJP and BRS were two sides of the same coin. He urged Bharat Rashtra Samithi MPs to demand a JPC inquiry and proposed a unanimous resolution in the Legislative Assembly. Congress leaders also criticized the Center for failing in Manipur and demanded answers for Adani’s alleged money laundering.
