Nalgonda: BRS working president and former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) recently spoke at a rally organized by Bharasa Rythu, a farmers’ organization, at Nalgonda’s Clockwar intersection. In his address, KTR emphasized the significant contributions of his father, former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), towards the development of Nalgonda. He pointed out that Nalgonda had emerged as the top district in rice production, an achievement that KTR attributed to the progressive policies of the KCR-led government.
Before the rally, KTR paid tribute to the statue of Mother Telangana at Nagarjuna College. The rally, which saw widespread participation from party leaders and locals, showcased the support for the government’s initiatives.
KTR also highlighted the impact of the Rythu Bandhu scheme, stating that over Rs. 73,000 crores had been distributed to farmers in the state under the initiative. He criticized the Congress party for its failure to implement similar support programs for farmers when in power, calling it a betrayal to the people. He stressed that the prosperity of Rythu Bandhu has been achieved only under KCR’s leadership, with no financial aid from the Congress government.
