
Amaravati: Lulu Group Chairman Yusuf Ali met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to discuss significant investment opportunities in the state’s food processing sector. The meeting focused on Lulu Group’s plans to expand its footprint in Andhra Pradesh, including the construction of malls, multiplexes, and hypermarkets in key cities.
During the meeting, they explored potential projects such as a mall, multiplex, and hypermarket in Visakhapatnam, as well as multiplex constructions in Vijayawada and Tirupati. The discussion, according to the Chief Minister, took place in a positive and constructive atmosphere. Chandrababu Naidu expressed optimism about the partnership, posting on “X” (formerly Twitter) about the productive dialogue with the Lulu team.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister assured full support to Lulu Group, emphasizing his government’s commitment to facilitating new investments in the state. “We are fully committed to supporting Lulu Group and are eager for partners like them to contribute to the development of Andhra Pradesh,” he said.
The Lulu Group, a global retail leader, has previously shown interest in expanding its operations in India, and its latest discussions with the Andhra Pradesh government indicate a strong possibility of future collaborations aimed at boosting the state’s economy, especially in retail and food processing sectors.
