Hyderabad: Minister Seethakka has publicly denounced the alleged corruption surrounding the Kaleshwaram project, asserting that the entire nation is aware of the irregularities linked to India. During a recent statement, she criticized the Congress government for attempting to shift blame and conceal the mistakes made during India’s governance.
Highlighting the issues plaguing the Musi catchment area, Minister Seethakka noted that over the past decade, numerous illegal constructions have arisen, with some buildings even erected in the middle of ponds. She emphasized that many of these structures belong to influential leaders, who then rent them out to impoverished families. “Due to these encroachments, the common people are suffering,” she remarked, pledging to ensure that the rights of citizens are upheld.
Addressing the plight of those losing their homes, Seethakka assured that permanent residences would be provided for the affected. She also criticized the Bharata government for its harsh evictions of residents during the Mid Manair and Mallanna Sagar projects, accusing leaders like Harish Rao and KTR of shedding “crocodile tears” in the aftermath of their actions.
