Amaravati: Another shocking development has emerged in the case of Bollywood actress Kadambari Jethwani, with reports claiming that the police registered a false case against her at the behest of government officials at the time. Earlier this year, Kadambari and her parents were placed in police custody from February 10 to 14, during which authorities tried to access her iPhones.
PSR Anjaneyu, head of the intelligence department, and other officials, including Kantirana and Vishal Gunni, made repeated attempts to unlock the phones while she was in custody. Despite these efforts, Kadambari refused to unlock the devices. Following advice from YSRCP leader Vidyasagar, the police allegedly devised a plan to pressure Kadambari.
On February 10, under the Patamata police station’s jurisdiction, a spa center was raided, and a woman from a northeastern state was arrested. Amit Kumar Singh, a close associate of Kadambari, was falsely implicated as A2 in the case, accused of trafficking women from Delhi. A four-member police team flew to Delhi to arrest Amit but returned empty-handed.
Despite these attempts, Kadambari’s police custody ended without success in unlocking the phones.
