Guntur : Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar announced that the state government will begin the distribution of free LPG cylinders through the Deepam-2 scheme, starting from Diwali. Eligible residents can book their first free cylinder between October 29, 2025, and March 31, 2025. Each household will receive a free LPG cylinder every four months, with the rebate amount credited directly to users’ accounts within 48 hours of delivery.
The announcement was made after the District Review Committee meeting held at the Guntur Collectorate on Monday. During the event, Guntur district in-charge Minister Kandula Durgesh criticized former CM Jagan for constructing a luxurious palace on Rushikonda, emphasizing the current government’s dedication to advancing tourism.
