Hyderabad: The Telangana government has announced plans to establish integrated schools across the state, which will be named ‘Young India.’ Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed officials to adopt this name during a review meeting on educational and sports initiatives.
In addition to the integrated schools, CM Revanth Reddy also emphasized the importance of developing sports infrastructure. He proposed the creation of a Sports University to unify all sports training institutions under one umbrella, aiming for international standards. The Chief Minister expressed his vision of making Hyderabad a potential venue for the Olympics in the future.
As part of this initiative, the government plans to set up a sports school in every Lok Sabha constituency, providing specialized training and facilities to nurture young athletes across Telangana.
