The daily cases of the Wuhan virus are rising constantly in India, raising alarming concerns for people and the concerned administration. With the constant cases above10,000 the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) active cases stand at 88,284 .
On the 24th of June, Friday, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) confirmed 17,336 new Wuhan virus cases, with 13 fatalities. In addition, the Health Ministry also reported 13,029 recovered cases in the past 24 hours. India sees a 30% jump in daily Covid cases as COVID-19 infections rise to 17,336 in 24 hours.
With the data revealed at 8:00 A.M., on Friday, India has a total tally of Wuhan virus cases, of which 4,27,49,056 are recovered/discharged cases, 88,284 are active cases and 5,24,954. death cases, till date. The new cases were confirmed after conducting 4,01,649 sample tests for the Wuhan virus, taking the tally to 85.98 crores till date.
Furthermore, the active cases comprise 0.20% of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate is at 98.60% with a 1.21% fatality rate.
Concerned about the rise, many states called for mandatory mask wearing in public and urged people to abide by the Wuhan virus protocol.
Meanwhile, under the nationwide vaccination drive, India administered a total of over 196.77 crore vaccine doses.
