Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi.

Mr. Shah was admitted on the night of the 17th of August for the post Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 care.

The news of Amit Shah being admitted to AIIMS came a week after Amit Shah announced his recovery from the deadly virus.

Dr. Aarti Vij, the Chairperson of AIIMS’ Media and Protocol Division, Delhi, said, “Sh (shree) Amit Shah, Honourable Home Minister has been complaining of fatigue and body aches for (the) last 3-4 days. He has tested negative for COVID-19. He has been admitted to AIIMS for post COVID-19 care. He is comfortable and is continuing his work from (the) hospital.”

On the 2nd of August, Amit Shah tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus and was being treated at Medanta Hospital in Delhi.

Later, on the 14th of August, Home Minister Amit Shah was discharged, post negative test of COVID-19 infection.
