Arvind Kejriwal Undergoes COVID-19 Test, Results Awaited

Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, undergone the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 test on the 9th of June.

The decision to take a test was taken after on the afternoon of the 7th of June, Mr. kejriwal developed mild fever, sore throat and cold.

Mr. Kejriwal on the 7th of June attended the State Cabinet meeting and since then he isolated himself cancelling all his meetings due to his health condition.

Though Mr. Kejriwal’s condition is said to be stable on the night of the 8th of June, Mr. Kejriwal took the test.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) spokesperson confirmed the news on the afternoon of the 8th of June.

Many political leaders wished a speedy recovery of Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi CM and the President of the AAP.

Meanwhie, Anil Baijalan, the Governor of Delhi called for a meeting at 3:00 P.M., to discuss the COVID-19 situation in the State and treatment of people in private hospital.

Recently on the 7th of June, Arvind Kejriwal announced the treatment of COVID-19 in private hospital reserved only for the residents of Delhi.  However, Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal ruled out this decision and called for a meeting to discuss the situation in the National Capital.

Meanwhile, the results of Arvind Kejriwal’s COVID-19 test is expected to come by the night of the 9th of June or the morning of the 10th of June.
