The Indian National Congress (INC) launched a monthly radio show, Desh Ki Baat. The show was reportedly started to counter Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat.
Mann Ki Baat is a show hosted by Narendra Modi, which is aired every month on the All India Radio (AIR,) DD News and DD Channel.
The first episode of Mann Ki Baat was broadcasted on the 3rd of October 2014. Since then, every month, Mr. Modi connects with the people of the Nation and addresses the issues prevalent in India and speaks about development.
Now, the INC also came up with something similar, to counter PM Modi’s show. The first episode of Desh Ki Baat was aired on the 26th of October at 11:00 A.M., on social media platforms and was hosted by Pawan Khera, the Spokesperson of the INC.
Rohan Gupta, the Chairman of the Social Media Department of the INC, said Desh Ki Baat would address the issues of the public across India and would question the ruling Government of India.
The major topics included on the show would be the failures of the BJP, the pending promises, public issues like the economy, agrarian crisis, rising prices and the alarming statistics about crime and unemployment.
Every episode of Desh Ki Baat would be hosted by different party leaders and spokespersons of the INC.
