Tomorrow India will be celebrating its 69th Republic Day. Everybody is excited to see the Republic Day Parade which is the main attraction of the day. This Republic Day will be special this year as the 10 heads of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will be attending the celebrations in Delhi. The heads from Vietnam, Laos, Brunei, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

Where will the Republic Day Parade be aired?
The President’s speech and the Republic Day parade can be watched on Doordarshan also known as DD National.
When can the Republic Day Parade be watched?
First, the Prime Minister will lay a floral wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti after which the President will hoist the National flag as the National Anthem is played. The parade is expected to begin at 9 A.M. and continue till 11:25 A.M. The two awards Ashoka Chakra and Kirti Chakra will be facilitated to the President of India for the courage shown away from the battlefield.
Where can people with hearing disabilities watch the Parade in sign language?
On the 26th of January, DD News will interpret the commentary at the parade in sign language.
Will the parade air online?

This Republic Day Celebration will be the first to have the ASEAN flag. Many eagerly wait for the 16 types of stunts which will be showcased by the BSF women bikers contingent called Seema Bhavani. A few other highlights include camel contingent and for the first time floats of All India Radio and Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The Nirbhay Missile and indigenous Airborne Early Warning and Control System Netra will also be featured in the parade.
