On the 14th of October, India’s Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases reached a total of 72,39,389 cases.
The Ministry of Health of India reported a total of 63,509 new COVID-19.
While the number of people who have recuperated from the disease crossed over 63 lakhs with a recovery rate to 87.05 %.
The updated data of the COVID-19 is available at the official website of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW.)
With these updates, India has a total of 72,39,389 positive cases, of which 8,26,876 active cases, 63,01,927 recovered/discharged cases and 1,10,586 death cases.
This is the 6th day in a row when the active cases is below 9 lakhs and everyday spike is also below 65,000.
In addition, the COVID-19 case fatality rate in India stood at 1.53 %.
India’s COVID-19 tally had crossed the 20-lakh mark on the 7th of August, 30 lakh on the 23rd of August 23 and 40 lakh on the 5th of September.
It went past 50 lakh on the 16th of September 16, 60 lakh on the 28th of September 28 and crossed 70 lakh on the 11th of October.
However, the recoveries of the COVID-19 stood at over 63 lakhs.
Meanwhile, according to the Indian Council Medical Research (ICMR,) a cumulative total of 9,00,90,122 samples have been tested up to October 13 with 11,45,015 samples being tested on the 13th of October.
