Rahul Gandhi, the Congress party chief, on Thursday, took to Twitter and criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for not answering his questions about the Rafale deal and flying to Punjab to attend an event instead.
Lok Sabha, on Wednesday, held a discussion about the Rafale deal, which turned bitter with the accusations of the Congress party against PM Modi. Speaking about the Rs. 58,000 crores deal, Rahul Gandhi posed some questions and sought answers for the same from Narendra Modi.
Tomorrow, the PM faces an Open Book #RafaleDeal Exam in Parliament.
Here are the exam questions in advance:
Q1. Why 36 aircraft, instead of the 126 the IAF needed?
Q2. Why 1,600 Cr instead of 560 Cr per aircraft.
Q4. Why AA instead of HAL?
Will he show up? Or send a proxy?

Targeting Mr. Modi’s Punjab visit, Rahul Gandhi said, “So it seems our PM has fled Parliament & his own open book Rafael exam & is instead lecturing students at Lovely Univ. in Punjab, today.”
Narendra Modi visited Punjab, yesterday, to attend the 106th Indian Science Congress (ISC) at the Lovely Professional University (LPU.)
The criticism went further with Mr. Gandhi’s comment, wherein he asked the students of LPU to ask PM Modi the answers to his questions about the Rafale deal.
So it seems our PM has fled Parliament & his own open book Rafale exam & is instead lecturing students at Lovely Univ. in Punjab, today.
I request the students there to, respectfully, ask him to please answer the 4 questions posed to him by me, yesterday. #RafaleScam

Reacting to the series of tweets launched by Rahul Gandhi, Nirmala Sitharaman, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and the Minister of Defence of India, said, “Forget open book, first learn counting.” She further added, “A student who fails in the classroom boasts and challenges from outside.”
Further criticising Rahul Gandhi, Arun Jaitley, the Finance Minister, said, “It was a tragedy for the country that the Grand Old Party was headed by a gentleman who doesn’t have the understanding of what a combat aircraft is.” He also referred to Rahul Gandhi as the ‘emergency dictator.’
The BJP and the Congress party are contesting against each other in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections scheduled to be held in 2019.
