Rahul Gandhi Questions TCS Over Voter Form 6 Change

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday questioned who ordered changes to Form 6, the online form used for fresh voter registration.

Gandhi alleged that the form was illegally changed and asked who at the Election Commission of India (ECI) directed Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to make the changes.

He also asked who at TCS approved the change and whether the company was pressured to make it.

Gandhi raised the questions on X, saying the changes had been recorded by the ECI’s own commissioners.

His remarks came a day after the opposition INDIA bloc announced plans for joint marches and rallies over issues linked to voter list revision.

The bloc said its MPs would march to the Election Commission on October 6. Opposition leaders also plan to meet the President over alleged irregularities in the voter list revision process.

The issue relates to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The Election Commission has said that differences in views among its officials are a normal part of institutional discussions and that its orders follow legal procedures.
