On the 18th of December, Mr. Rahul Gandhi , the Member of Parliament (MP) of the Indian National Congress (INC) is going to visit Amethi, Uttar Pradesh.
During his one day visit, Mr. Rahul Gandhi will be participating in the ‘padyatra’ from Jagdishpur to Harimau in Amethi. He will also conduct a campaign, “BJP Hatao, Mehangai Bachao ” campaign. Today’s campaign has been launched under the nationwide campaign, launched by the INC. On the 14th of November, the Congress launched a nationwide campaign named ‘Jan Jagran Abhiyan’ to expose the economic mismanagement of the BJP in India.
Besides rallies and padayatra, Mr. Rahul Gandhi is also scheduled to hold ‘chaupals’ in rural areas.
After losing 2019 Amethi seat, this is the first time, Mr. Rahul Gandhi will be visiting Amethi.
Today’s Amethi visit is also said to be a Kickstart to Congress’s elections campaign in the poll bound Uttar Pradesh.
While Mr. Rahul Gandhi will visit Amethi today, the 18th of December, the General Secretary of the INC, Ms. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will be in Amethi on Sunday, the 19th of December.
Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in 2022.
