In a relief to students of intermediate, the Telangana Education Department announced reappears.

On the 17th of December, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) said, “Students need not worry about the marks and they can take the exam again in the upcoming intermediate Public Examinations in April 2022.”

The exams would be conducted next year for those who scored less or failed the intermediate exams in 2021. Meanwhile, the State Board also released the results of the intermediate first year, recently on the 16th of December.

After the results were announced, the TSBIE said, students who are not satisfied with their results could either apply for re verification or recounting of papers by paying fees. After the re-verification, the students would be provided with the scanned copies of their answer sheets along with the result.

In 2021, the intermediate pass percentage was reduced drastically by 11% with only 49% passing students. A total of 5.59 lakh people (both vocational and regular) appeared for the exams of which 2.24 lakh were passed.

Disappointed with the results, on the 17th of December, Friday, two students committed suicide.
