Rishabh Pant, the star cricketer of the Indian Cricket Team, has been hospitalised after an unfortunate car crash near Haridwar.
On the 30th of December, Rishabh Pant, who was on his way to home for New Year, met with an accident in Roorkee, Uttarakhand.
According to sources, the cricketer was alone in his BMW car when at around 5:30 A.M., his car hit a divider near Hammadpur, near Roorki’s Naarsan border. Locals helped Rishabh Pant by breaking the glass of the vehicles and rushed him to a nearby hospital.
The visuals of Rishabh Pant’s damaged car engulfed in flames, are making rounds on the social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram.
Soon the local police was informed who rushed to the spot and registered a case. Mr. Swapn Kishore Singh, the Superintendent of Police of Haridwar confirmed the same and said, “Cricketer Rishabh Pant’s car met with an accident between Manglaur and Narsan in Haridwar district. He has been shifted to Max Hospital Dehradun after giving primary treatment at Roorkee Civil Hospital. The accident took place on NH-58 of Manglaur PS area.”
The police further added that the car Rishabh Pant was driving is completely burnt, but he was lucky to survive such a severe accident.
In addition, updating about the health condition of Rishabh Pant, Dr. Ashish Yagnik, Max Hospital, Dehradun said, “Cricketer Rishabh Pant is under the observation of Orthopedics & plastic surgeons. His condition is stable. His detailed medical bulletin will be released once he’s examined. Thereafter, we’ll take the next steps.”
Upon hearing the unfortunate accident of cricketer Rishabh Pant, celebrities, the cricket fraternity, Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and other cricketers prayed for Rishabh Pant’s speedy recovery.
Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “भारतीय क्रिकेट खिलाड़ी @RishabhPant17 जी के दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण सड़क दुर्घटना में घायल होने का समाचार प्राप्त हुआ। राज्य सरकार द्वारा उनके उपचार की सम्पूर्ण व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। ईश्वर से उनके शीघ्र स्वास्थ्य लाभ की कामना करता हूं।”

Jay Shah, the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also tweeted, “My thoughts and prayers are with Rishabh Pant as he fights his way back to recovery. I have spoken to his family and the doctors treating him. Rishabh is stable and undergoing scans. We are closely monitoring his progress and will provide him with all the necessary support.”
Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and an investigation into the accident is underway.
