The South Central Railway (SCR) will provide temporary stoppages for 10 trains at Hi-Tech City railway station from November 1 to January 31.
The move aims to manage the extra passenger rush at Lingampalli and Secunderabad stations during the festival season. Passengers will not have to pay any additional boarding charges.
The trains include services between Secunderabad and Rajkot, Secunderabad and Porbandar, Tirupati and Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Mumbai, and Pune and Hyderabad.
Passengers who have already booked tickets from Secunderabad or Hyderabad can also use the Hi-Tech City station during this period. They can change their boarding point to Hi-Tech City either online or at railway counters.
The SCR said passengers can make this change without any extra charge, following the existing procedure.
The temporary arrangement will remain in place for three months, covering the festival travel period.
