Former Telangana minister and BRS leader T Harish Rao felicitated actor Priyadarshi Pulikonda for his performance in The Paradise.
Harish Rao met Priyadarshi at his residence and praised his portrayal of MLA Shankaranna, a character that has drawn comparisons with former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). Reports about the film have also noted the character’s KCR-inspired look and mannerisms.
Harish Rao praised Priyadarshi’s mannerisms, dialogue delivery and screen presence. He also highlighted the actor’s journey in the film industry and described his rise through his own efforts as a matter of pride for Telangana.
Priyadarshi had earlier spoken about the preparation that went into the role. He studied KCR’s body language, dialect and style to bring the character closer to the intended portrayal.
The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela and starring Nani, was released on September 24. The film has attracted attention for its Telangana setting, language and culture.
