The Congress party has approved Sama Rammohan Reddy and Ramreddy Sarvotam Reddy as its candidates for the upcoming Telangana MLC elections from two Graduates’ Constituencies.
Sama Rammohan Reddy will contest from the Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad Graduates’ Constituency. Ramreddy Sarvotam Reddy will contest from the Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal Graduates’ Constituency.
According to a Congress press release, AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge approved both candidates on Tuesday. The announcement came after Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy completed his two-day visit to New Delhi.
The voter enrolment process for the two Graduates’ Constituencies began on Monday. The final electoral rolls are scheduled to be published on December 30.
The two candidates will now prepare for the MLC polls as the electoral process moves ahead.
