BRS general secretary RS Praveen Kumar has denied reports that an ACB court issued an order seeking the seizure of KT Rama Rao’s (KTR) passport in the Formula-E case.
Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan, Kumar said the ACB had only filed a memo seeking passport protection. He said neither KTR nor his counsel had received any court order on the matter.
Kumar questioned reports claiming that the court had written to seek KTR’s passport. He said courts issue orders rather than letters. He also alleged that the reports were politically motivated.
He further accused the Congress government of denying opportunities to SC and ST contractors. Kumar alleged that several sub-station works were being combined into single packages. He demanded cancellation of the tenders and reservations for SC, ST, BC and minority contractors.
