Hyderabad: Roads and transport minister Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy condemned the allegations made by former minister Jagadeshwar Reddy on Congress government. Komatireddy said that BRS leaders are afraid of the probe ordered by the government on alleged discrepancies in Bhadradri Thermal Power Plant and power purchase from Chattisgarh.
Addressing the media at Yadadri on Monday, the minister said that Jagadeeshwar Reddy will go to jail after KCR’s family for corrupt practices in the energy department. A sitting judge enquiry and vigilance probe will be ordered into the irregularities in the energy sector during the BRS ruling, the minister said.hi
He opposed the comments made by Jagadeeshwar Reddy and said that people are aware of his sacrifices for Telangana state.
Komatireddy asserted that the Congress government will function full term and asked people not to trust the false propaganda. Around 30 MLAs from BRS are ready to join Congress after Lok Sabha elections and strength of BRS will come down to 10 seats, Reddy asserted.
