BRS Leader Raises Concern Over Minority Student Aid

Thousands of minority students in Telangana depend on government scholarships and fee reimbursements to continue their education. Delays in this support have raised concerns among students and their families. The issue has now drawn criticism from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).

BRS Minority Cell General Secretary Abdul Muqeet Chanda has criticised the Congress government over pending post-matric scholarships and tuition fee reimbursement dues. He urged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to set a clear deadline for clearing the pending payments.

General Secretary Chanda said the delays were putting financial pressure on students and their families. He also said the government’s approach was discouraging students from applying for educational support.

Separately, he urged eligible graduates in the Mahabubnagar, Rangareddy, Hyderabad and Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda Graduates’ MLC constituencies to register as voters before the November 6 deadline.

He also asked BRS workers and student leaders to spread awareness about voter registration.
