
Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed officials to expedite the establishment of the Yadagirigutta Devasthanam Board, emphasizing that it should function similarly to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). During a review meeting held at his residence on Wednesday, the CM suggested several modifications to the draft framework for the Board of Trustees.
Revanth Reddy stressed that political interference should be strictly avoided in the administration of the Yadagirigutta temple, ensuring that its sanctity remains intact. The Chief Minister also proposed amendments to the provisions governing spiritual and service-related activities under the temple’s administration.
Senior officials, including State Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari and Principal Secretary of the Revenue Department Shailaja Ramaiyer, attended the review meeting. The government aims to implement a structured and transparent governance system for Yadagirigutta, ensuring efficient temple administration and enhanced services for devotees.
With these directives, the state government is expected to take swift steps towards forming the Board of Trustees and strengthening the management of the temple.
