Hyderabad: The Telangana government is set to revolutionize the approval process for housing and commercial projects with the launch of TGBPass 2.0, an advanced application powered by artificial intelligence. Scheduled for unveiling during the Prajapalan Victory Festival on December 1, this new version of the existing TGBPass system aims to streamline and expedite building permit approvals across all city and municipal bodies, including the GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation).
Previously, the TS BPass system simplified the application process, allowing citizens to apply for permits for residential and commercial properties without visiting government offices. However, approvals for multi-storied buildings and complex layouts often took several days or weeks. With the introduction of TGBPass 2.0, this time-consuming process will be shortened dramatically.
The AI-powered system analyzes building drawings for compliance with regulations within minutes and offers immediate approval if everything is in order. A bot system will also be available to answer applicants’ queries, and the platform will render 3D visualizations of the proposed construction. Additionally, the system will flag any potential disputes, ensuring transparency throughout the process.
