KCR Inaugurates Several Development Projects Worth Rs. 210 Crores In Sircilla District

On the 4th of July, the Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao visited Rajanna Siricilla district and launched several development projects.

On Sunday, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President inaugurated a new building of the nursing college, constructed at a cost of Rs. 36.45 crores over 5 acres of land. He also announced enhanced stipends for the nursing students. In regard to the announced stipend, the first year students would get Rs. 5,000, the second year students would get Rs. 6,000 and the third year students would get Rs. 7,000. While announcing a hike in stipend, KCR Government promised to build a government medical and engineering college in the district in 2022.

Besides the nursing home building, KCR inaugurated the first ever Institute of Driving Training and Research (IDTR) worth Rs. 16.48 crores, a double bedroom dignity housing project at Madepalli village, a modern agriculture market yard in Sarjapur village worth Rs. 22 crores, spread over 25 acres of land and the Integrated District Collectorate Complex worth Rs. 70 crores, spread over 80 acres of land. The State Government constructed 1,320 2BHKs at a cost of `80 crores for eligible people in the district.

In addition, despite suffering huge losses due to revenue dedication in the wake of the ongoing Wuhan virus pandemic, the TRS Government fulfilled their promises of development. The State Government on the 5th of July, announced Rs. 45,000 crores in the next 4 years for Dalit empowerment in the State. Besides this, the Telangana Government announced Rs. 10,000 crores on strengthening, improving the State’s medical infrastructure.

Ministers like K.T. Rama Rao, P. Ajay Kumar, S. Niranjan Reddy, V. Prashant Reddy, the State Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, the State Planning Commission Vice Chairman, B. Vinod Kumar, the Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) like N. Laxman Rao, Bhanu Prakash and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) S. Ravi Shankar, R. Balkishan, the Zilla Parishad Chairperson Nyalakonda Aruna and the District Collector D. Krishna Bhaskar were present at the event.
