K. T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Minister of Telangana, on the 3rd of September, felicitated Neelakantha Bhanu Prakash.
Neelkantha Bhanu Prakash, 21 years old, a resident of Hyderabad, won India’s 1st gold at the Mental Calculation World Championship.
The Mental Calculation World Championship at the Mind Sports Olympiad was held in London on the 15th of August.
Neelakantha Bhanu Prakash, a native of Hyderabad is a Mathematics Graduate from St. Stephens, the Delhi University.
While Neelakantha secured the gold medal, Aaryan Shukla bagged the bronze medal in the junior category.
Minister KTR felicitated Mr. Neelakantha for his young talent. He made Telangana state and India proud with his fantastic achievement.
The felicitation event was held at Pragathi Bhavan in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Ministers and senior Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders like Srinivas Goud, the Minister of Prohibition & Excise, Sports & Youth Services, Tourism & Culture, and Archaeology, and others were present during the event.
The event was a low key affair due to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
