The Singareni collieries company limited (SCCL) would give a Diwali bonus to its employees.
The company, which is under the Government of Telangana, would give a bonus of Rs. 68,500 to the employees.
The announced bonus would be credited into the accounts of each employee on the 12th of November.
The announcement regarding the Diwali bonus was made on the 7th of November by the SCCL after a meeting with all the members of the company.
During the JBCCI (Joint Bipartite Coal Committee of India) meeting, the directors of various coal companies decided to give the bonus to the employees despite the losses during the pandemic of the Novel Coronavirus.
In a statement, the company said, they would pay a Rs. 68,500 performance-linked reward (PRL) bonus to all the workers.
However, the additional bonus would be given to underground employees who would have 190 musters and the surface employees who would have 240 musters (attendance register) in 2019-20.
Meanwhile, the bonus would be given proportionately if the employees have lesser musters.
India is going to celebrate Diwali on the 14th of November.
