Several leaders associated with the Congress party joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Rajendranagar, Ranga Reddy district, on Sunday in the presence of BRS working president K T Rama Rao (KTR).
The joining programme was held at the BRS office under the leadership of Rajendranagar constituency in-charge Patlolla Karthik Reddy. Among those who joined were former district Congress vice-president B. Sai Reddy, former MPTC member B. Raju, former Manikonda sarpanch Yalala Naresh, former Puppalaguda MPTC member Papalal Singh, former Manikonda sarpanch Jaihind Rao and Manikonda councillor Yalala Lavanya.
Former ministers Sabitha Indra Reddy, Jagadish Reddy and Srinivas Goud, along with MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy and MLC Naveen Reddy, attended the event.
During the programme, KTR criticised the Congress government over several issues, including Hyderabad’s DJ restrictions, the Metro Rail project, the Musi River project and the proposed Future City. He also urged eligible voters to register for the Graduate MLC elections.
