The Sri Ramanujacharya Millennium Celebrations at the Sri Ramanagaram Ashram in Muchhintal, a suburb of Hyderabad, entered its second day, on the 3rd of February.

The 12-day celebration, organized for the inauguration of the “Statue of Equality, ” started on the 2nd of February. 

On the second day of celebration, Thursday, as a part of the festivities, cremation, bonfire, and homas would be held in the morning.  In addition,  Sri Sudarshana Neshti for the eradication of evil in Ishti Shashti, Srinivasudu Veshti programs for Sarvabhishtasiddhi, as well as Sree Sree Sree Peddasvadda Swamy Vari in Pravachana Mandapam, Ashtottarasata Namapooja, and prophecies would also be held. 

There will also be homas and messages from the chief guests on Thursday evening.  

Notably, all the arrangements of the grand celebration have been made for the Mahayana to be performed in 1,035 pots.  About 5,000 Rutviks from different states across the country are expected to participate in these homas. Thousands of devotees are also flocking to the festival to perform their duties as volunteers. 

On the other hand, devotees would also be allowed to attend the millennium celebrations from today, the 3rd of February.

According to sources, devotees could attend the Yagya / Homam and prophecies which will take place for the next 11 days. 

With the arrival of thousands of Rutviks, volunteers, and devotees, the festive atmosphere prevailed in the ashram and the surrounding areas became more vibrant and spiritual.
