Ahead of the Statue of Equality inauguration, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government made special arrangements, including additional bus services.

On the 1st of February, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has decided to run special buses from the 3rd of February to the 10th of February. The additional buses would run to the ashram of Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy at Muchintal from important locations in Hyderabad. To ease travel and make the journey to witness the historic moment convenient for people, the TSRTC decided this.

Since the beginning of the events, from the 3rd of February, a heavy influx of devotees are expected to visit the site.

The 216 feet tall statue of 11th-century reformer and Vaishnavite saint Ramanujacharyulu will be unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the sprawling 40-acre ashram of Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy at Muchintal on Saturday.

Chief Minister of Telangana Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao would be co-hosting the event with Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy.

President of India Mr. Ramnath Kovind, the Vice President of India Mr. M. Venkaiah Naidu, and several Union Ministers are expected to attend the event and visit the venue prior.

Scheduled on the 5th of February, the inauguration of the statue, described as the ‘Statue of Equality, is located in a 45-acre complex at Shamshabad on the outskirts of the city.

Notably, the project is worth Rs. 1,000 crore was funded entirely by donations from devotees globally.
