In Telangana’s Warangal region, another case of student committing suicide was reported.
In an unfortunate incident on the 26th of February, Sunday, a third year engineering student was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her relatives’ house.
The victim identified as Rakshita was at Ramannapet at her relative’s house, where she hung herself to death over a social media post. Getting into the details, Rakshita, daughter of Shankara Chary and Rama, of Bhupalpally town died due to a Facebook post, in which she was with a male friend. Rakshita was studying B.Tech (ECE) at a Narsampet college.
The Police have registered a case under section 174 of the Code Of Criminal Procedure (CrPC.) Furthermore, an investigation into the matter regarding the suspected reason for the Facebook post is underway.
Meanwhile, the victim’s body has been shifted to the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) Hospital for postmortem.
