In Telangana’s Hyderabad, a building while under repair works, collapsed in the wee hours of the 31st of March, Friday.
In a shocking incident, an ancient building near the Rama temple in Cherukupally Colony of Quthbullapur division collapsed in a blink. The G Plus Two building had been sold and bought by a new owner just 15 days ago, and was undergoing repair works.
During the five-day repair process, workers felt vibrations inside the building and observed beetle activity, causing them to flee for safety. Later on, the building collapsed suddenly. The authorities no casualties and major injuries were reported as nobody was inside the building at the time of the accident. However, a woman identified as Tanabai, was present at the scene and suffered a minor leg injury, and was taken to Haritha Hospital in Chintal.
Meanwhile, when asked about the reason of the collapse, the locals reported that the building, being old, did not have proper pillars and beams and was already in a state of disrepair.
