Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is scheduled to chair a Cabinet meeting today, the 12th of August.
According to sources, the meeting has been called to discuss the government job vacancies in Telangana.
Recently, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government announced to fill 50,000 job vacancies in 2021. In regard to this, the State Government took a decision and asked to discuss the same. He also asked the officials of several departments to prepare a proposal regarding the same.
Besides discussing the job vacancies, the State Government led by KCR would also discuss the ongoing Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. The meeting would also cover the ongoing COVID- 19 vaccination drive, measures to control the Wuhan virus and hospital conditions for patients.
In addition, another major topic which would be a part of today’s meeting is related to the agriculture sector of the State.
Today’s Cabinet meeting would be the second meeting in the past one week. The last Cabinet meeting was called on the 8th of August. During the Sunday meeting, KCR and other TRS ministers discussed the Krishna River Water dispute between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
However, this time the major topic of the meeting was the recently announced 50,000 job vacancies.
The meeting scheduled today is set to begin at 2:00 P.M., at Pragati Bhavan, Hyderabad, Telangana.
