Till the 10th of October, Telangana’s Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases mounted to 2,10,346.
On the night of the 9th of October, the State Health Department released a media bulletin updating 1,811 new COVID-19 cases and 9 deaths.
Number of recoveries recorded in the past 24 hours stood at 2,072.
Of the total 1,811 new cases, 291 cases were recorded in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and 1,520 cases in different districts of Telangana.
Of the total 1,520 district cases, 29 from Adilabad, 81 from Bhadradri, 30 from Jagtial, 31 from Jangaon, two from Bhupalpally, 25 from Gadwal, 33 from Kamareddy, 100 from Karimnagar, 75 from Khammam, 11 from Komarambheem Asifabad, 42 from Mahabubnagar, 33 from Mahabubabad, 21 each from Mancherial, 24 from Medak, 171 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 26 from Mulugu, 27 from Nagarkurnool, 108 from Nalgonda, 14 from Narayanpet, 32 from Nirmal, 35 from Nizamabad, 34 from Peddapalli, 30 from Siricilla, 138 from Rangareddy, 45 from Sangareddy, 63 each from Siddipet, 71 from Suryapet, 27 from Vikarabad, 35 from Wanaparthy, 32 from Warangal Rural, 62 from Warangal Urban and 33 from Yadadri Bhongir.
With this, the total number of cases reached 2,10,347,of which 26,104 are active cases, 1,83,025 recovered/discharged cases and 1,217 deceased.
In addition, the Telangana Health Department conducted as many as 50,469 sample tests for COVID-19. The total number of COVID-19 tests in Telangana is 35,00,394.
Besides, the recovery rate of Telangana from the Novel Coronavirus is at 87.01 %.
