Sabitha Indra Reddy, the Education Minister of Telangana, on the 7th of May, asked the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) students to be prepared for the exams.
On the 7th of May, Ms. Reddy conducted a review meeting with the officials of Telangana Education department about the SSC or 10th class examinations.
The State Government also appealed to the Telangana High Court (HC) seeking permission to conduct the SSC exams for the remaining 8 papers.
Sabitha Indra Reddy also said the Telangana Government filed an affidavit seeking permission to conduct the exams following the social distancing norms.
Speaking about the evaluation process, Ms. Indra Reddy said the State Government 33 evaluation centres for the SSC papers.
The State Government is also looking forward to appointing 1,500 examiners to evaluate the papers.
Once the Telangana HC gives permission to conduct the exams, the State Government would make necessary arrangements to conduct the exams.
