The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government released the list of public and optional holidays for the year 2020.
Shailendra Kumar Joshi, the Chief Secretary of Telangana, on the 22nd of November, released a Government Order (GO) pertaining to the list of holidays.
There would be 23 public holidays and 17 optional holidays, excluding Saturdays and Sundays, under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
Public Holidays for 2020 are:

Bhogi – the 14th of January
Sankranti – the 15th of January
Maha Shivaratri – the 21st of February
Holi – the 9th of March
Ugadi – the 25th of March
Sri Rama Navami – the 2nd of April
Good Friday – the 10th of April

The day after Ramzan – the 26th of May
