Ahead of Prabhas starrer Adipurush release, the Telangana Government gave its approval to hike ticket prices in the Telugu State.
Directed by Om Raut, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s mythological epic, Adipurush is set to release across India, on the 16th of June. The film also features Saif Ali Khan, Devdutt Nage and Sunny Singh.
Speaking of the hike in tickets, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Government issued an official notice.
As per the notice, the K. Chandrashekar Rao led State Government has allowed a hike of Rs. 50 for single screens theaters. In addition, theaters with single screens are allowed to start their first show as early as 4:00 A.M.
According to the latest notice, Government Order (GO) issued, maximum permitted ticket rates for the first weekend are Rs. 236 plus 3D charges for single screens and Rs. 295 plus 3D charges for multiplexes. And for the weekdays starting from the 19th of June, the ticket rates would be capped at Rs. 177 plus 3D charges for single screens and Rs. 295 plus 3D charges for multiplexes.
The approval to hike prices for the movie would boost the box office collection of Adipurush.
Meanwhile, as of now, 1 lakh tickets of Adipurush has been sold out across India, ahead of its release on the 16th of June.
