K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Minister of Telangana, said we need to live with the Novel Coronavirus  or COVID-19.

Mr. Rao said, the virus doesn’t have an antidote or vaccine, people need to live with the virus, taking the necessary measures to protect themselves.

Mr. Rao said, “Let us come to that understanding first that no matter how much we would like to get rid of this virus, the fact is that there is no vaccine.”

Emphasising on a new business plan and ideas for companies, the Telangana I T Minister urged the Central Government to extend financial help to states for infra creation access post Coronavirus crises.

The Telangana Government requested for Rs. 4,000 crore from the Central Government for a pharma project, considering the need of drugs and vaccines in future

The proposed idea of the ‘Pharma City’ would have world class facilities with medicines and antidotes needed due to the Novel Coronavirus.

Mr. Rao said there should not be a “toss between lives and livelihood.”  The new project would also increase the job opportunities, which decreased in the past few months due to the pandemic crisis.

Besides KTR, Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi and Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh also shared similar thoughts recently.

Mr. Kejriwal said, “The time has come to re-open Delhi.  We will have to be ready to live with (the) Coronavirus.”

Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “we have to live with it (Novel Coronavirus.)”

According to the Health experts,the situation would take a long time to be normal and the social distancing norms need to be followed until 2022.  

The scientist at the Harvard School of Public Health said, “Intermittent distancing may be required into 2022 unless critical care capacity is increased substantially or a treatment or vaccine becomes available.”

Meanwhile, globally, the Novel Coronavirus infected 3,567,001 people and claimed 248,312 lives till date.
