The fight between the political leaders and parties intensified in the Telugu State of Telangana, amid the upcoming Huzurabad Assembly by poll.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Mr. Jeevan Reddy addressed the media and expressed confidence in the chances of the TRS. He even made an open challenge to Mr. A. Revanth Reddy, the President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC,) to win the Assembly seat against the TRS.
Addressing the media, Mr. Jeevan Reddy said, the people of Telangana and Huzurabad are happy with the ruling TRS Government. He expressed confidence amongst the voters and said, they would vote for the K. Chandrashekar Rao led Telangana Government. He further added, the citizens of Telangana are impressed with the welfare schemes and progress of Telangana under KCR’s leadership.
Highlighting the performance of the TPCC in the Dubbaka and Nagarjuna Sagar by election, the TRS leader said, the TPCC have lost credibility amongst people.
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with its new member Mr. Eatala Rajender is working hard to campaign for the upcoming Huzurabad Assembly by poll. Mr. Rajender who was the former MLA of the Huzurabad Assembly constituency and former member of the TRS is now expected to contest the Huzurabad Assembly by poll on a BJP ticket.
With this, the fight for the Huzurabad by poll would be an interesting election, specifically between the TRS and Mr. Eatala Rajender.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) is expected to announce the official date of the Huzurabad by poll in the first week of September.
