On the 27th of February, Monday, the Warangal Police in Telangana, arrested two people for the death of a 2nd year B.Tech Student.
According to sources, on the 26th of February, Sunday, an engineering student was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her relatives’ house.
The victim identified as Rakshita was at Ramannapet at her relative’s house, where she hung herself to death over a social media post. Getting into the details, Rakshita, daughter of Shankara Chary and Rama, of Bhupalpally town died due to a Facebook post, in which she was with a male friend. Rakshita was studying B.Tech (ECE) at a Narsampet college.
The Police have registered a case under section 174 of the Code Of Criminal Procedure (CrPC.) In the latest development, two suspects Jashwant and Rahul were arrested on Monday. According to Rakshitha’s father, his daughter was deeply distressed and felt helpless due to the alleged actions of these two men.
The investigation into the matter is underway.
