Ms. Y.S. Sharmila, the Founder of the YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) made sensational remarks against Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology Minister of Telangana.
On the 30th of April, Saturday, Ms. Y.S Sharmila reacted strongly against the recent remark of Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, regarding development in Andhra Pradesh.
It is to be noted that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Working President KTR made controversial remarks about Andhra Pradesh development. He said the residents of Andhra Pradesh are facing water issues, electricity issues, bad roads and no good infrastructure. He tweeted, “I am not exaggerating this and boasting about Telangana. Some people may not agree with my remarks but these are hard facts. There is no water. There is no electricity. Roads are in very bad shape. These are the conditions prevailing over there.”
However, he immediately posted another tweet taking a flip on his own statement.Mr. K.T. Rama Rao also said, “It appears that an innocuous comment that I had made at a meeting earlier today may have caused some unintentional pain to my friends in AP. I enjoy a great brotherly equation with AP CM Jagan Garu & wish that the state prospers under his leadership.”
Responding to Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, Ms. Y.S. Sharmila said not to comment on the lack of basic amenities in the neighbouring state, when the TRS Government is ignoring the problems of the people in Telangana.
She asked the TRS Government to react to farmers’ deaths and the deaths of unemployed youth in the state. She further made sarcastic comments about KTR and stated, “He is not having friends in Telangana and is the reason why he can’t see the problems in the State.”
Notably, KTR’s remarks on infrastructure gained a lot of criticism from the Andhra Pradesh ministers.
