The YSR Telangana party (YSRTP) President Ms. Y.S. Sharmila announced ‘Praja Prasthanam’ padyatra.
On the 20th of September, Monday, Ms. Y.S. Sharmila announced to start the padyatra from Chevella from the 20th of October. On the ocassion of the announcement, Ms. Sharmila addressed the media and said, the padayatra will cover all the 90 constituencies except the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC.)
The YSRTP President said, “The padayatra will be embarked and concluded in Chevella.” It is to be noted, Ms. Y.S. Sharmila would cover 10-15 kilometers walking distance in a day. In addition, she also said that her hunger strike on every Tuesday for the unemployed youth will be continued until the unemployment issue resolved in the state.
It is to be noted, every Tuesdays, Ms. Sharmila goes on hunger strike (dharna) against unemployment in the Telugu State of Telangana.
Now, to mark a strong hold of the YSRTP, Ms. Sharmila launched this padyatra. She said, “With the padayatra, the YSRTP will instill confidence in the people that the party would form government in Telangana for public welfare.”
The YSRTP is a newly launched political party in Telangana, aiming to stand strong against the ruling, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.)
