Italy: An Italian land artist created a 24,000 square metre image of Jesus Christ on a field. Dario Gambarin carved the huge artwork in the Italian province of Verona which shows the “difficult moment faced by humanity”.

The artist used his tractor and achieved different depths, made colors by rotating harrow and a plough to finish his work. White spray paint and nylon cloth were used for his eyes.
This creative work, entitled Suffering Christ, intended to show the “difficult moment faced by humanity” and also commemorates the Catholic Church’s Jubilee of Mercy event, which begins next Tuesday.
It took many days for Mr Gambarin to complete the portrait in Verona, which can only be fully appreciated from the skies.
His previous projects have included similarly grand depictions of Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama, John F. Kennedy, and Pope Benedict XVI.
