The platform ticket rates at Secunderabad Railway Station have been increased to Rs. 50. On the 10th of January, Monday, the South Central Railway (SCR) took the decision amid rush of passengers at the railway station.
According to the SCR Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) Mr. C.H. Rakesh, to reduce the rush of passengers, especially people who come to see off the travelers would be decreased, if the platform tickets rates are increased. ,
It is to be noted, the platform ticket price at Secunderabad Station has been increased from Rs. 20 to Rs. 50. However, the platform ticket prices at Nampally, Kacheguda, Warangal, Khammam, Lingampalli, Kazipet, Mahabubnagar, Ramagundam, Bhadrachalam, Bidar and Begumpet railway station have been increased from Rs. 10 to Rs. 20.
The new rates of the platform tickets would be effective from the 20th of January.
